More Than Just a Classroom

Student Leadership Institute

SLI trains Juniors and Seniors to follow Christ's style of leadership in everyday life. Huddle Group leaders have the opportunity to lead in regular meetings with their middle school groups. SLI, student government, and First Priority often coordinate areas of servant leadership during Spiritual Life Retreat in the spring.

Student Government

SGA designs and coordinates a variety of service projects, school functions, and other events throughout the year, giving students hands-on leadership experience.

First Priority

Students meet before school once a week to participate in service projects (such as giving to Operation Christmas Child and  Manna Food Pantries) and to pray for the spiritual needs of the school.

Chapel

Chapel at EHCS is uniquely student-led. Everything from the sound system to the worship is provided by the student body. Guest speakers include faculty, area pastors and professionals, and various ministries such as Safe Harbor, Teen Challenge, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Middle/High School
At EHCS, we believe that education is our primary responsibility. However, some things just can’t be taught in a formal classroom scenario.

Besides a well-developed sports program, East Hill Christian School offers students the opportunity to participate in a number of extracurricular activities that take place during and after school on specific days of the week or month.
Below you’ll see a selection of a few of those activities, but there are several other academic societies and athletics that are available to students as well.

Students also have the opportunity to travel on a school missions trip to Costa Rica. Pictures from last year’s trip are viewable in our slide show to the left.

Elementary Activities

Students participate  in a variety of fun and educational activities each month. They  can also enjoy weekly music, art, and computer classes.

Various guests visit classrooms throughout the year to answer students' questions and develop their understanding of our community.

Students will also learn the importance of giving and caring for others through fundraisers and food drives for community children and families.
